#129 Poster Wedding Gift

More poster art, this time from gus and lula.
Bit cute as a wedding gift?

http://ny-image3.etsy.com/il_fullxfull.217210283.jpghttp://ny-image1.etsy.com/il_fullxfull.223936349.jpghttp://ny-image0.etsy.com/il_fullxfull.248097828.jpg

The small size is $14 & large is $20, custom orders are also available which could be very fun?
The sunshine lyrics poster is my favourite. All three of these would also be super sweet in a children's room!
Gus and Lula also has a blog, full of cute as a button baby photos & gorgeous home design.

'The Penny' - 1950's/1960's gold brocade. $142 aud
(I think the mannequin perhaps doesn't do this gown justice, it seems as though it needs a few more curves in the right places. But such an interesting design don't you think? The buttons are such an unusual & pretty feature.)

Can you believe those dresses? Can you believe those prices?! Buy three, decide on the day? Jokes jokes... Kinda...
I really, really love that gorgeous little chiffon party dress. The sweet cut of it, the flattering tucks at the front & that neckline is just perfection.
I'd also love that little cape & skirt set, I don't know if I'm quite fabulous enough to pull it off but I'd give it a go!
Now some lovely accessories also from Bohemian Bisoux...

'The Janie' - Vintage 1930's ecru crotched fishnet gloves. $31 aud

#119 Fabric Wedding Accessories

One of the diy projects I didn't get around to was a fabric banner, in retrospect I should have just compromised & bought one. Not much of a compromise really when there are banners as cute as these from bpoetic on etsy!
The Bridesmaid gift tags are very sweet, I do like a 'bridesmaid proposal'  after all (that already feels like so long ago)...
The colour of that flower brooch is a little bit yummy? Great for bridesmaids & flowergirls, perfect for the mother of the bride or groom. Or perhaps just because?
Lovely Wedding Banner Lovely Wedding Banner All You Need Is "Love" Banner  Sweet Set of "Will You Be My Bridesmaid" tags Hello Sunshine Corsage
Petite White Hair clip B. Poetic Aspiring Petals Necklace Pretty Little Veil
B. Poetic Isabella Headband B. Poetic Finona Headpiece
Sweet Little b. Poetic Ring Pillow

I can just imagine that fabric necklace with a simple, understated dress, it would look gorgeous. Can't you just see it?
The headband is flowergirl perfect.

I wouldn't change my paloma's nest ring bowl for the world. It is now one of my most favourite wedding keepsakes & is just plain lovely home decor, however,  this ring pillow is very lovely so again I must question the possibility of having a ring bowl/pillow for each ring? ;)

In all honesty I'm not a fan of shoe clips, but if I did, I would love the shoe clips from bpoetic so if you do then you should definitely check them out! These are my top three - blue, yellow+pink & cream.

#114 First Anniversary

The traditional first anniversary gift is paper.
How about these hand cut silhouettes from another ridiculously talented Boston based artist, Joe Bagley?

First Anniversary Gift Paper Kissing Couple on Bike- 8x10

First Anniversary Cut Paper - Two Women Couple on Bikes- 8x10 First Anniversary Cut Paper - Gay Men Couple on Bikes- 8x10

I think they would look sensational mounted to 'float' in a box frame...

And perhaps if by the one year anniversary a baby is on the way, this could be an option?

Did you, or are you & your partner doing the tradition anniversary gift order? Or anniversary gifts at all?

#109 Groomsmen Gifts

We had gifts for our Groomsmen custom made by Dlk Designs on Etsy (Iif you aren't already addicted to Etsy, just surrender to the awesome already yeah? It will change your life...) .

Here is a photo of one pair of the boys personalized cufflinks taken by our brilliant photographer Karalee of Angelsmith Photography

Two map fragments are mounted on to stirling silver, in this pair of Dublin & Adelaide for Mr N's brother, & preserved under a magnifying jewelery grade resin that is slightly domed.
Each of the groomsmen & Mr N, had map pieces relevant to them & their history.

I found it really hard to decide on gifts because as with anything wedding related there is a gigantic overabundance of cliche options.
I'm so glad we were able to find something that was both useful & personal... & really pretty... shh don't tell the boys!

#90 Houses of Love

I've always like pottery, but lately I like it more & more?

Anyhow! How cute would these treasures from the little red door be as wedding favours?
Or as gifts for the bridesmaids or mother of the bride/mother in law?
OR, flower girls?

Lettering can be customized... I'm thinking ' n + c ' would be pretty cute ;)

via the little red door

I couldn't help but post the somewhat beside the point maple leaf house... I appreciate it... Sister E will appreciate it!
Also, the stores have had Christmas decorations up for over a month so I thought that was good enough excuse for me to share that last little snippet of cute. Yes? Yes.
