#154 Eucalyptus Bouquets

Love love loving these stunning florals from the wedding of Lauren + Josh.
The colours are so deliciously fresh & the arrangements are so perfectly organic & wonderfully individual.

The grooms boutonniere manages the ideal balance of being both understated while still bringing a pop of colour. I'll make a big call & say that it is possibly my favourite boutonniere to date?
Lauren's bouquet was a mix of seeded eucalyptus, cotton balls on the stalk, ranunculus, hydrangea, anemones, dahlias & freesia while each of her bridesmaids carried a bouquet of seeded eucalyptus with one element from the brides.
I love anemones but I've never seen them in here so I wonder if perhaps you can't get them in Australia?

I think each arrangement is absolutely delightful & all together, something that looks a lot like perfection.

#146 Porcelain Fortune Cookies

A bit of fortune cookie & chopstick action went down at our wedding. I will eventually share more of those details someday soon but I'm waiting on some exciting happenings first.
In the meantime, how deliciously gorgeous are these porcelain fortune cookies from Yoga Goat!

Lovely decorations & brilliant favour inspiration.
How cute is the tree decoration cookie idea? I love the matte finish & while I still like the gloss finish as pictured for the chopstick rests (chopsticks via pacific merchantile) I would much prefer the matte finish on those as well. There's something about white matte porcelain that just gets me, every single time.
Each one is hand sculpted & arrives packaged in a mini chinese takeout box. They are very durable & can even be washed in the dishwasher if they get a little dusty over time.

Even though clearly I came across these a little late to use for our wedding, I'm definitely keen to have some simply as home decor &/or tree decorations!

#138 Centrepieces - Flowers in Vintage Bottles

I think I've mentioned before that when I was growing up, our house backed on to state forest, during the gold rush is was a very busy area & the forest was filled with old mine shafts as well as things (mostly 'rubbish') left behind by the miners.
Among these discarded objects the most common things to find where old cans & bottles.
It was rubbish really, but it fascinated me. Mostly because it was such a tangible reminder of those people that came in such numbers, chasing a dream.
As a child there was something very surreal & magical feeling about the traces they left.

I still love vintage bottles & I adore vintage bottles used as vases, especially as centrepieces.
Here's a few pretty-full examples!

I think there's something especially lovely & elegant looking about the simplicity of using only white blooms.
Gorgeous as home decor as well obviously!

#136 Lingerie

I dallied on the jenny packham shop website for far too long yesterday ( can you blame me?), which is how I came across this french lace with silk chiffon robe & chemise of the same label

Even though I think I can say with a fair amount of certainty that i will never be able to afford them, they are just a bit gorgeous!

Then I was sidetracked by carine gilson...

I included the shoulder padded bra from la perla purely because i need you to tell me whether I'm really that out of touch? I'm so confused?
I love the agent provocateur set, stunning.
All sets pictured are available from net -a-porter. Some wedding sets & some well, not really?

#134 Elizabeth Filmore Wedding Gowns - 2012

I. Love. Lace.
I think it borders on an addiction really?
I also love long sleeved dresses, especially wedding dresses.
Long sleeved, shorter length gowns are just to die for!
Note to self: Obtain more long sleeved dresses...

This is a selection from the Elizabeth Fillmore 2012 collection that was just released a few months ago...

#128 Wedding Sandals With Some Sparkle

These white & silver sequined sandals from Sense Of Fashion would be ideal wedding flats & coming in at under $50 they are nice on the wedding budget too...

White Silver Studs Sequins around Sandals Flats EU 34 - 43 by dithzzappear White Silver Studs Sequins around Sandals Flats EU 34 - 43 by dithzzappear

Beautiful don't you think?
Your feet would probably thank you after a whole night of dancing too!

It is absolutely amazing the prices some places charge for 'wedding shoes' . As in, white shoes...
In a Melbourne bridal shoe shop that shall remain nameless, I came across white platform thongs which yes, were definitely nothing more than thongs (I'm not not using the term loosely they were made from that cheap foamy stuff), they were presented in a red velvet lined wall recess with their own downlights.... $500. Five. Hundred. Dollars. For thongs!
Unbelievable. But obviously someone is buying these things...

Thank goodness for the ideas & options the internet supplies!
