#154 Eucalyptus Bouquets

Love love loving these stunning florals from the wedding of Lauren + Josh.
The colours are so deliciously fresh & the arrangements are so perfectly organic & wonderfully individual.

The grooms boutonniere manages the ideal balance of being both understated while still bringing a pop of colour. I'll make a big call & say that it is possibly my favourite boutonniere to date?
Lauren's bouquet was a mix of seeded eucalyptus, cotton balls on the stalk, ranunculus, hydrangea, anemones, dahlias & freesia while each of her bridesmaids carried a bouquet of seeded eucalyptus with one element from the brides.
I love anemones but I've never seen them in here so I wonder if perhaps you can't get them in Australia?

I think each arrangement is absolutely delightful & all together, something that looks a lot like perfection.

#47 Pods n Things

I really like wedding flowers that are either very casual, with that 'i just picked these from my own garden' look, or that are a bit unusual.
I especially love the use of things like pods, succulents, twigs & leaves in arrangements...

Not sure if I will be going so far as a whole bouquet of the same, although I do think it looks great in photographs!

What do you think?

I think this bouquet is just about the perfect balance of traditional & contemporary...

On a side note, how seriously awesome are lotus pods?
I think they look so amazing...

#32 Chrysanthemum (umumums)

Green ones.

I love them.

Everything about them.

Actually, I wish their name was a little easier to remember how to spell...

But other than that!

We go to the markets on the weekends & there is a brilliant florist there that often has them.
I don't usually buy flowers (for myself) but sometimes I have a moment of weakness & buy a bunch of these little darlings...

I LOVE the shape of them & the 'pop' of the colour.

I'm thinking of including them someplace along the way as well as basing our highlight of green on this shade...
