#163 Engagement Ring Fun

A fortune cookie proposal? Brilliant!
If you didn't want to use a real cookie you could use a silver fortune cookie hinged keepsake box such as the one pictured & have the ring inside...

or even a card holder with a ' will you marry me' fortune (or obviously a more personalised option) & be ready with ring in hand OR even one of those ridiculously gorgeous porcelain fortune cookies I featured a little while ago here...

 Single Porcelain Fortune Cookie- LOVE

That would be so incredibly cute!

These rings are nice to look at?

So are these ring boxes from stout woodworks & eskae jeweller?
That hickory box especially...

And just for fun...

Hope your week has begun wonderfully!

And, one of the cutest couples ever to have lived...
That's a whole lot of love.

There's nothing I can say that can even come close to expressing the absolute & complete perfection of these photographs.
So I won't even try.
I am so thankful for all the beauty in this world.
Thank you Clayton Austin.
Thank you Tyler + Anna.

And that bike?!

I have really enjoyed looking at Char Photography's blog this afternoon, photo's of such love never get old do they!
Char has captured so much beauty in her shots. I love when  photographs make you feel so honoured, honoured because you know that they are a clear little piece of insight into such heartfelt shared moments.
It is such a skill to be able to make people feel relaxed & comfortable enough, that photos like these are possible.
Gorgeous. Too bad she's based in the U.S!
I had an excellent moment of confusion when I went to look Char's 'Seniors Portraits', here i was expecting portraits of the elderly, 'what an interesting thing to specialise in!' i thought to myself. Clearly I hadn't translated my webpage from English/English to American/English. High school seniors. Quite different portraits to the ones i was picturing?

It's times like these I wish I had more than ten fingers. You may have guessed I'm a white gold fan but I did try to give yellow gold a look in...
I am seriously loving the organic feel of those Silverwood & One stone new york pieces!
I also can't go past a bezel/halo setting. Gorgeous.

If some rings are similar then it's probably because they fall in different price ranges or are perhaps different stones - diamond/white sapphire for example.

#84 Wedding Ring for Him

I came across this jewelers work on etsy a while ago & I must say I am quite impressed.
Jewelery by Johan features rings for women & rings for men as well as wedding sets.
I particularly like his mens range, which include more classic contemporary pieces like the first two pictured below...

And the last two, a little more unusual with inlaid wood stripes & a diamond setting, or a matte titanium finish.

But my absolute clear favourite are these unique pieces...

Aren't they just wonderful???
Mr N likes them too so I think at this stage that one of these rings is definitely the front runner for the big day & ever after!
Which one? Well that is quite another matter...
Also, another piece of eye candy from Jewelery by Johan, & in the spirit of something blue?
